Muhammad Ibn Sālih al-'Uthaymīn 
His Life: Muhammad Ibn Sālih al-'Uthaymīn was born in the city of 'Unayzah in the Qasīm region of Saudi Arabia in 1925 on the 27th of the Islamic month of Ramadan. He died on Wednesday, January 10th in 2001 at the age of seventy-four.
His Studies: He studied under a number of well-known scholars such as 'Abd al-Rahmān al-Sa'dī, Muhammad Amīn al-Shanqītī, and 'Abd al-'Azīz Ibn Bāz, among others.
His Position(s): As one of the leading Salafī scholars and a prominent speaker against terrorism, Ibn al-'Uthaymīn taught Religious Fundamentals at the Sharia Faculty of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University. He was also a member of the Council of Senior Scholars of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
